#13 – A walk

It’s my favorite path,[br_tc] Rain, snow or shine,[br_tc] Seeking silence and tranquility[br_tc] That only nature brings.[br_tc] The way winds through the fields.[br_tc] Grass, corn or empty –[br_tc] Simply resting and rejuvenating.[br_tc] On winter days when snow covered,[br_tc] The crunching sound of footsteps is soothing.[br_tc] During warm summer days,[br_tc] The breeze calms my senses.[br_tc] And when it rains,[br_tc] The dancing raindrops on my umbrella sing.[br_tc] Gazing at the countryside[br_tc] Is akin to looking at a mirror.[br_tc] Every day I see something new,[br_tc] From the past or tomorrow.[br_tc] Later, when back home,[br_tc] Relaxed and at peace,[br_tc] I’m reminded of life’s blessings,[br_tc] And precious mirrors like this.
