A peaceful morning.
Sun slowly rising.
Waves gently crashing.
Open horizons,
Felt near and afar.
The water feels warm,
Even though it’s not.
Perhaps raw emotions,
Shield against the dark.
Those cold pockets,
That unexpectedly arrive,
When eyes are closed,
Breath is held,
And silkiness,
Is all that’s around.
One of those days,
When it simply feels right.
