#1628-Boundaries


Frozen days,

Revealing strange sights.

A four-legged man, or

A four-wheel-drive woman.

But such gender distinctions,

No longer suffice.

Society has evolved.

Hard to keep up anymore.

Good intent is of no avail.

Words are interpreted,

With cutting exactness.

Yet leaders bark out

Clouded truths, and

Hypocrisy prevails

Behind closed doors,

But such is life,

When intellect combats reality,

While refusing to see,

That there are boundaries,

One cannot exceed.

At the end,

We’re merely oscillating,

Between zero and one.
