A happy flower,
Or a friendly,
Ten-eyed beast.
Seems this morning,
I can’t decide,
Which to believe.
Actual life,
Or made-up reality.
So be it.
For now,
Both appear to exist.
Perhaps it’s a special day,
When adult and child,
Imagine, play, and wonder,
What today may bring.
