I’m fed the news,
Through others’ eyes.
Yet it’s hard,
To believe all the hype.
Simple facts,
Are a rarity.
So I sift,
Through the lenses,
Neatly placed before me.
It is a shame,
To be on guard,
Feeling skeptical,
Pondering what to believe.
Perhaps,
This is nothing new.
But today,
It feels sad,
Thinking so.
