#241-Reflections

Can it really be a mirror?

Seemingly made of stone,

Worn down in time,

Carrying a danger sign,

As waves batter,

The fragile tranquility inside…

Reality looks out from a distance,

But I close my eyes,

Rejecting a truth I understand,

But don’t embrace,

Preferring to fight instead.

One day I’ll enjoy the splashes,

Cool spray, and getting wet.

It’ll feel good.

I can imagine it even now.
