He is a kind man
Embracing a path
Unimaginable,
In youthful years long past.
Waking up early
He prepares for the day:
Care, patience, medications…
Never complaining,
Always ready to lend a helping hand,
His front yard blanketed,
In colorful little flowers.
They make me smile
Whenever I walk past,
And anyone taking the time
To closely look inside,
Would find the same beauty
Greeting those passing by…
