Waiting to grow.
Looking on.
Envious of the lucky ones.
Blooming,
Smiling,
Colorful.
You’ll grow,
She whispers.
I’m feeding you.
But I can’t hear,
Or feel.
Illusions,
Taste sweet.
Distractions,
Are wonderful.
And reality,
Is often sad.
