#371-Proud

On days when I go for a walk through the fields near our village, I pass by this old trailer. It doesn’t seem to have moved even once in the past five years. At least not that I’ve noticed. What’s written on its side translates to something like “association of military motor vehicles.” To Susanne and I it doesn’t look military-like at all. But it’s there, proudly wearing it’s name every time we walk by. Seems like a small abandoned trailer with an enigmatic past that I would like to discover. I bet it carries stories worth listening to. Since I’ve never seen anyone around to ask, I just imagine things. If one day I stroll by and see it gone, I’ll be sad. As ridiculous as it sounds, we’ve shared a part of our lives together. Memories, on rainy, sunny or snowy days. Long story short, I want to say thank you. For whatever it is it did, provoking my imagination, and just being there. Thank you old one.
