An ancient clock,
Casting shadowy memories,
On a sunbaked wall,
Cracking in time.
Words trying to escape.
Feelings burning to be felt.
Eyes screaming,
But no one cares to see.
It’s a lonely world.
Fingers tap the keyboard.
Unspoken thoughts appear.
But only an old song,
Seems to understands.
You were always on my mind.
