#1369-Black

The sun’s setting.

A silver ray of light,

Appearing from nowhere.

Green grass,

Breathing besides old,

Dried friends.

An every-day image,

Transporting buried memories,

Best forgotten.

But they linger on.

Maybe I should’ve buried them,

Inside a black heart.

Maybe then,

They would have drowned.

Silently.
