#1471-Light

Another cold, grey morning.

August has barely begun, yet

Summer feels long gone.

Cowbells jingle in the fields.

Thick clouds continue to gather,

Whispering of raindrops,

Readying to fall.

The humming of a car engine

Fades around a bend,

As she sleeps on.

The quiet of early mornings.

When thoughts are clear,

Shoulders naturally feel relaxed,

And most things appear right.

Even in daybreaks, darkened light.
