#1761-Silent tears

Sometimes,

When rose petals fall,

They cry.

Often,

There’s no one around,

To care or wonder why.

There were times,

I too felt like that.

In my own shell,

Looking at a world,

Indifferently walking by.

But that was long ago,

When ideals and youths,

Danced late into the night.

Those tears have now dried,

Transformed into memories,

That quietly rewind,

When I stop and listen,

To falling rose petals,

As they cry.
