#1973-Mysterious

I will stand tall,

No matter what,

A branch quietly said.

I looked around,

Yet no one was about.

Who do you speak to?,

In wonder I asked.

But silence,

Was all that came back.

It was somewhat confusing,

Standing there,

This conundrum contemplating.

Nothing satisfying came to mind,

So I began on my way,

To a dance of whispers,

I knew not from where.

It wasn’t the trees,

Echoing in the breeze.

Just parts of you, and me.
