#1996-Cheerfulness

In younger times,

Being ridiculed,

Was hard to understand.

But as years passed,

I began to find,

Laughing at myself,

Full of fun and delight.

Today it’s easy,

To see parts of me,

In our neighborhood cows.

Some days I lounge about,

Others, curious to see,

Who is around.

Still, I do hope,

The day doesn’t come,

When I happily walk about,

With a muddy, dirty butt.
