#2126-Wholeness

Every day I look inside,

In search of creativity,

To discover parts of me,

I readily cannot see.

But today I felt dry.

Shapes, colors, disparity,

Crowded my being.

Faults, excuses, uneasiness,

Would not leave my side.

Only much later I realized,

That these feelings,

Stemmed from a past,

I’d rather forget,

Leave behind,

But simply can’t.

Perhaps a blank canvas,

To repaint perfection,

Would help ease my mind.
