#2129-Honey

Unlike popular belief,

Bears do exist,

Close to where we live.

They are a different breed,

Than those normally seen.

Happy, gentle, trouble-free,

They keep me company,

Without a whisper or sound,

Looking for honey jars,

In dusty corners,

Or just laying around.

Gazing at my friend,

It is quite evident,

That silly thoughts,

Are forming mental knots.

So perhaps for today,

I’ll try being a bear.

Happy-go-lucky,

Devoid of worry,

Looking for honey.
