#2199-Westgate on sea
Thrown into a new world,
A language I hardly spoke,
Distance from those I knew,
In the midst of strangers,
Alone.
Yet I survived,
With time began to thrive,
Leaving childhood behind.
Some experiences in life,
Appear harsh,
Yet cannot be judged.
For silver linings,
Do finally arrive,
Shedding light,
On moments of darkness,
That never seemed to pass.
