#2368-Here
Not long ago,
I was on the road,
Far from home,
Rewinding memories,
Of an old reality,
Now no more.
Decades replayed,
Days flew by,
Yet I looked forward,
To coming back.
Now I awaken,
In a familiar land,
At peace and grateful,
Wondering why.
Perhaps I’m simply tired,
Of an old past,
I crave to forget,
Bury and leave behind.
