#385-Waiting

I’d like to open you.

Peel your leaves back,

One by one,

Slowly,

Savoring each layer.

You look exotic.

Fresh.

From a world,

I don’t know.

Why can’t you wait?

Just give me time.

I’ll open.

And there’s nothing exotic inside.

Only a mirror.

To reflect your naked soul,

In me.
