#407-Rage

There are days,

When thoughts feel charged,

Escaping from every part of me.

Emotions painted on a vacant face,

A world on fire,

Eyes hollow,

Dark,

Blind.

In younger days,

I gave my storms away.

Others carried my weight.

Today I withdraw.

Wait.

They’ll pass,

The voice says.

Remember:

Unfelt,

Discarded emotions,

Only turn into hurricanes.
