Messages that feel heavy.

Weighing me down.

Cars can’t pass.

Don’t walk here…

… if you’re thinking about women.

Walk freely.

Orange lights,

Unlit.

Red lights,

Unblinking.

Foreign thoughts,

Coursing their way,

Through my veins,

Trying to reach a core,

They know exists.

But I’m far away.

Unaware.

Fighting for emptiness,

I know is there,

But cannot find.

Perhaps tomorrow.
