It’s dark.

The only light,

An ATM machine,

As lonely as me.

Insert your card,

It shouts out.

But no one’s listening.

Wish it was that easy,

To be fulfilled.

Love, understanding, compassion.

Empathy, kindness, acceptance.

A friend to walk with,

Through life.

Random thoughts,

Late at night,

As I pass by,

A solitary,

Screaming screen.
