#686-Bärlauch

Every year we go to a forest not far from our village to pick wild garlic. In a small out of the way corner, they grow freely. There’s enough to fill many, many bags. But one is more than enough for us. Before leaving, we thank the forest for her gift. It may sound funny in today’s world, but it feels right. And the view from up there is always breathtaking. It’s comforting to feel, that despite the years flying by, some things remain the same.
