To understand,

What my eyes see,

Is not a difficult thing,

To simply believe.

But there are days,

When I cannot understand,

What dangles before my eyes.

So I ask those by my side,

To help me see,

The reality my mind,

Simply cannot grip.

It is satisfying,

To leave vanity behind,

And instead now,

Let humility sit by my side.
