Living the same dream,

Where everyone is different,

Yet crave sameness,

Perhaps out of ignorance.

Embracing individuality,

Seems a daunting task,

Often shunned,

For cloaks and masks.

Yet this is the same path,

In younger days I walked.

Searching for meaning,

And a place to belong.

Still,

Those were youthful times,

When challenging beliefs,

Was light years away,

From an entrenched mind.

Now days fly by,

And I’m grateful,

To still be searching,

For meaning,

Until it is time.
