#8 - A reminding leaf

A heart-shaped leaf

On a wet summer’s day.

The raindrops resemble tears,

Veins spreading from the center,

Like a human being.

And all the while,

Supported and kept in place

By thin strands of a spider’s web.

Today nature has reminded me,

$Of love’s fragility.

To see the almost invisible,

Take care,

And appreciate.

Tomorrow is another day.

And unlike clouds that disperse,

And history that repeats,

I hope it remains…
