It feels cool,
Morning fog’s leaving,
Tide’s coming in,
But the bench feels empty.
Just me.
We used to sit here together,
Watching the waves,
Breathing the salty air.
I miss you,
But can’t be with you yet,
Still need to wait.
Just a little while longer.
