It’s a cold,
Grey, summer day.
Raindrops play one of
Nature’s softer symphonies.
Patches of fog,
Drift through trees
Across the valley.
The summer sun,
Has vanished this year.
Spring has dissolved into fall.
Still, when I look at you,
I feel warm, and smile.
