#1475-Attack

Long, carefree, summer days,

That never seemed to end.

Racing through neighborhoods,

In search of enemies,

Prepared to attack,

With wooden swords and shields.

Innocent days do repeat,

If one is lucky.

All it takes,

Is imagination, grandchildren,

A few quiet streets.
