#1481-Nighttime

To melt in you.

Lost in colors, magic,

Songs of chirping birds,

Drifting by unseen.

Feel the sun’s warmth,

As summer wanes.

Dream of days to come,

When snows melt,

Flowers slowly awaken,

And cowbells ring,

Through the dark of night.

When questions,

Without answers arise,

And sleep refuses to abide.

Lying awake,

Wondering why.

When no questions,

Have been asked.

Just a tormented mind,

Running in circles,

Unable to unwind,

Hoping for daylight,

To maybe forget,

Nighttime.
