Side by side.
Reflections of reality,
Mundane, silent,
Hard to understand.
It’s getting late.
Shadows creeping in.
Maybe time to leave.
Night will soon fall.
A special time,
When sleep escapes
From the dark, and
Naked thoughts,
Dance with memories
From days long gone.
