#1538-Better

Tiredness and obsolescence,

Are finally here.

Used to be just a thought,

But now it’s real.

Aching bones,

Confusing days,

Strange times,

When doubt emerges,

On sunny days.

The ground nearby is stained,

With distant memories,

Impossible to wash away.

Those that paint a panorama,

Wishing to be forgotten,

Yet firmly set in stone,

Seeped with sweetness,

Dipped in bitterness.

Still, one saving grace remains.

There’s still enough fuel,

To drive away, and

Let tomorrow be,

Perhaps a better day.
