Sunny days,
That soon will turn.
As leaves take wing,
Days become shorter,
Colder, and grey.
Seasons pass.
It’s nature’s law.
Like warm,
Autumn afternoons,
When golden leaves dance,
And everything feels right,
Except those evergreen,
Homeless thoughts,
Lost in the wind,
In search of south.
