When the world is asleep,
It’s dark outside, and
The only sound,
Echoes,
Of gentle thoughts.
An intoxicating calm,
Embraces the countryside,
Welcoming dawn,
As darkness bows to light.
Another beautiful day,
For dreams to play,
Unabashed,
Like excited children,
On Christmas day.
