#1827-No respite
01/08/2022
Monday morning,
And back to work.
It may appear calm,
But not what it seems.
Curves often hide,
What can’t be seen.
Need to buckle up,
Stay vigilant,
Not drift away.
It may be summer,
The days warm and slow.
But life happily thrives,
No longer waiting,
For autumn to arrive.
Times have surely changed,
From those olden times.
