Being a corn stalk.
Unbending, tall,
Reaching for the sky,
Surrounded by others and life.
Why not begin each day,
Pretending to be something else.
A simple, fun game,
To recall childhood days, and
Welcome old age.
Days will quickly pass.
So let’s play, learn and laugh,
While the moments last.
