The day will arrive,
When caring and kindness,
Will our lives pervade,
Laying by the wayside,
Ego, greed, and pride.
That time has yet to come.
For now, and until then,
Gratitude with patience,
Can be a way,
To avoid chaos,
Meanness, and disarray.
