#2114-Convoluted
15/05/2023
Early in life,
I learned to build isolated,
Hard to reach places inside.
Appearing complicated,
Unique, important,
Was the intellectual exercise.
But with time,
I began to dislike,
These outdated relics,
Crowding my mind.
Now I seek simplicity,
Solitude and quiet,
To myself quietly find.
It is ironic to look back,
And realize it was all,
A youthful waste of time.
But perhaps this was the road,
I needed to see,
Walk and leave behind,
Before I could arrive.
