#2144-Usefulness
14/06/2023
A small piece of wood,
Thinking it was too old,
One sunny spring day,
Found a new home.
In a quiet little town,
He finally settled down.
He was employed,
As a temporary latch,
Keeping a small corner safe,
For those walking by.
It was not much,
Yet brought him joy,
To still be useful,
In this modern,
Hard to fathom world.
