Alone.
Majestic.
Casting shadows,
Far and wide.
My hero.
The lone tree,
I walk past,
Day after day,
Looking,
Thinking,
Asking questions.
Unanswerable.
Rain,
Snow,
Or a burning sun,
She’s graceful.
No complaints.
Accepting.
Old wisdom,
Whispered into the breeze,
Lost in the speed,
Of an every day life,
Like mine.
