#4 – Indecision


Sun-dried St. John’s-wort and soon to dry wild mint.

Both from the same land.

So different,

And old,

Carrying baggage –

A stray chili pepper…

 

Wild strawberries,

Drooping like yesterday’s sunflowers,

But alive,

Filled with flavor,

And hope.

 

A green fern,

Grows beside a rock;

Solid, grey, jagged, coarse.

And sheltering that strange,

Seemingly unharmonious part,

That resembles a heart.
