#7 – Aging graciously
I’d like to grow old like this.
Pleasant to the eye,
In good condition,
Still serving a purpose.
Maybe to add color to a summer’s day,
Or bring a smile to someone’s face.
Feel the earth underneath my wheels,
And all along believing,
That life’s cycles can be gracious.
Even though generations old,
I can still belong.
Riding along life’s roads.
Making someone smile.
At the end,
It’s nothing special or magical.
Just the way I dream of aging.
Quietly, authentically and gratefully…
