Can’t climb you.
Up or down.
Shaky legs and vertigo,
Playing hide and seek,
With ghosts of days past.
Dreams,
Frightened of being shattered.
Imaginary thoughts,
Filled with doubt and dread.
A litany of nonsense,
Gathered along life’s way,
Waiting for that moment,
To perhaps break free,
And float away.
