#193-Eco and ego

There are days when the world feels dense and it’s hard to see the sky. So I look for the little things in life that help lighten the load: memories, pictures, a friend’s words, or an upbeat news article. It’s usually there for the taking; all I have to do is look. Sometimes my nature forgets that a helping hand is close. Then there are the many who aren’t as fortunate. When I think about them, parts of me feel hollow and sad. Dwelling on these things doesn’t help. But I can take small steps to change things around me, carry on and continue to believe, that everyday, it does get just a little bit better.
