#5 – Football field

Nature, tranquility and traces of humanity existing side by side. That’s what we found this morning taking a small detour on our way to the village grocery store. It was a surprise to find no one playing. The grass was short, soft and just beckoning for players! I no longer play football, but looking at the pitch made me want to run to the store, buy a football and kick the ball around for a while. To sense the cushiony feel of the grass under my feet, the “whack” of the ball against my foot, the bending of legs and all other sensations simultaneously going through my entire body…

It’s been a long time since I kicked a ball.
